John Fleming is a proud native of Pontotoc, Mississippi, and a graduate of Pontotoc High School. He continued his academic and athletic journey at Blue Mountain Christian University in Blue Mountain, MS, where he earned a Bachelor of Science in Exercise Science with a minor in Biology and Combined Sciences. While at Blue Mountain, he also played collegiate basketball, an experience that shaped his understanding of teamwork, performance, and injury recovery. He was honored to be named Mr. Kinesiology, recognizing both his academic dedication and his commitment to the kinesiology program.
After completing his undergraduate degree, John earned his Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) from the University of Mississippi Medical Center in Jackson, MS. He is certified in dry needling and performs cupping, BFR, and various manual-based techniques and strategies to enhance patient care.
In his free time, John enjoys staying active by working out, playing basketball and golf, spending time with friends, attending church, and playing music. He is married to McKinley Fleming, and they currently reside in Ruston, Louisiana.
John’s passion for physical therapy stems from his desire to help individuals regain strength, confidence, and independence through personalized care and evidence-based treatment. He believes in treating the whole person—not just the injury—and strives to create a welcoming environment where each patient feels supported and understood throughout their recovery journey. Whether working with athletes, older adults, or those recovering from surgery or illness, John is committed to delivering high-quality, compassionate care that empowers others to thrive.
